Fuel Prices, Environmental Regulations, Department of Transportation Rules Increase Cost of Dumpster Rental In Quad Cities

Are your waste removal and dumpster costs going up?  If so, consider the following.  A dumpster delivery truck burns about 5 gallons of fuel an hour when driving in the Quad Cities.  And about double that when operating at full highway speeds.  Currently diesel fuel is about $4/gallon, more than double its cost 10 years ago.  Environmental/emissions regulations have added thousands of dollars to the cost of dumpster trucks.  These same regulations have made the trucks less reliable as the process of burning off diesel emission particulates often causes issues with engines which, in turn, leads to costly down time.  And finally we have new "hours of service" regulations from the Department of Transportation.  These new rules are too lengthly to cover in this forum, however they limit the hours that dumpster companies can operate, therefore increasing the cost of dumpster delivery.  While, our costs increased due to the before mentioned issues, we're still delivering dumpsters to our valued Quad Cities customers on a daily basis.  Call us if you need one at (563) 332-2555  or visit our web site by clicking on the following link:  http://www.rentadumpsterquadcities.com
